34CrAlNi7 (1.8550) is a German standard nitriding steel with aluminum in the alloy composition. It is an aluminum alloy nitriding steel. Among the nitride forming elements such as Al, Cr, V, Ti, Mo, Mn and W, Al is the preferred element for nitriding steel, which has a strong affinity with N and can form a highly dispersed aluminum nitride during nitriding.

In what applications is 34CrAlNi7 used?

34CrAlNi7 is used after tempering and nitriding.
